Moving home to Oregon

Well here we go, my first blog post for our business and our journey. If you are new to our story or Nelson Family Farmstead let me give you a quick catch up. Ben and I (Jodi) have always had a dream of owning our own business. We always had a love of the country life since we both grew up out of town and loved the outdoors. We always talked about what kind of business we would start and always came back to the idea of a farm. There was a lot of thought that went into this and especially when we had children. We wanted to do something that benefited them. Raising all natural meat seemed like a no brainer! So the journey begins.

Fast forward to 2015, Ben and I moved back to our hometown on the Oregon Coast to the Nelson Family property and started Nelson Family Farmstead. We did it! With a huge leap of faith and a lot of support we are growing and thriving. We have been able to work as a family at a dream that we have had for so long. So please stay tuned! This dream and lifestyle has just begun and has many more blog posts to come.
