Hay there farmer.... one of the only places it is ok to bale on!

Wow, is it really that time of year again. Runny noses, itchy arms, sweat beads rolling down your cheek, last but not least a great sense of accomplishment looking out over acers of land knowing you help pick up thousands of bails to stuff your barn! Yes, it's a wonderful and exhausting all at the same time. There are so many things that come from this time of year. Where do I start?

There is the cutting, racking, bailing, and stacking. All sounds exhausting but is also rewarding. Our family all do different jobs to get it done. We truly live by the saying " Many hands make light work." We are so grateful for all our close peeps that are still wanting to hang out with us this time of year. You find out who your true friends are lol! We keep them well hydrated and I always make a big pulled pork dinner meal on our last day to thank everyone for all their hard work.

These few hard weeks of work ensures we are able to take care of our herd for the hard rainy winters here in the PNW.

To our friends and family.... cutting has been done, racking is next so I hope you are all doing your stretches' cause throwing bails is happening soon! We love you all. Happy Hay season y'all!
